Astrik came to be when its owner, Asthildur, started making caramel popcorn for her family and friends. Soon she no longer could meet the frequent requests for her popcorn, so she decided to share the delicious crunch with everyone who loves gourmet caramel popcorn...straight from the kitchen of Asthildur, a food enthusiast and connoisseur!.

 

In Icelandic, the words "ast" and "rík" translate as love and rich. We at Astrik want those words to represent our product which is carefully handmade with love and butter.
